WOW Moment Stories....

I shared my airplane seat belt story a couple weeks ago but I have had another wow moment since then.   I was at Walmart the other day and i was just pushing my cart around heading to check out when i noticed one of the walmart employees standing there shaking his head and staring at me.   I though WTF is he looking at, before I got stares all the time (guess people are not used to seeing a 500 pound man) so as i got closer he said ' You have lost a ton of weight , you look so different'.  So i told him i had lost 135 pounds and he asked me how so i told him weight loss surgery.  He looked a little shocked and then asked if i was done loosing so i told him nope still got 125 pounds left.   It feels so good when people notice the weight loss and say something about it.   I know 4th of July weekend will be my biggest wow to date.  My dad and his girlfriend are flying in from Boston for the weekend and I can already tell you my dad will be crying like a baby at  the airport when he sees me.   He has always been emotional, but he has wanted my sister and I to get healthy for so long (he even offered to pay our mortgage payments for a year if we lost so much weight and kept it off... I could not even do that and that would have been nice to have all that extra cash).

I love reading every ones wow moments they are so good.

I LOVE this thread!!!     LOVE everyone's WOW moments!!   Isn't this journey exciting!?!?!

I've had several WOW moments, but the most recent came this week when at Bible School, I went to put on my robe, and where it had barely met in the middle last year, this year, I not only met but overlapped BIG time!!!   I am thinking for next year's Bible School I'm going to have to make me a new smaller robe!!!!!

HUGS
