Goodwill Rocks!
I don't remember the first person who suggested that we try Goodwill when we were losing weight at first since it would be more economical while changing sizes so rapidly, but i am so pumped about todays finds.
5 tops for 14 bucks. WHAT A DEAL. I don't think any of them have even been worn. I've gone from 3x to XL.
Life is Good and Goodwill Rocks!
I bought 3 pairs of jeans and a top this week (.99/each). They are all too small but I figure I will lose down to them eventually. Since I don't even have a surgery date yet.
They gave me a flyer that shows which days are .99 days for the color of the week (Sundays & Wednesdays for mine location). I can't wait to go tomorrow to see what .99 deals I can find.
I agree, Goodwill Rocks!
So no Goodwill visits for me in the real near future! I am TRYING real hard to stop my "extremes" as I discussed in the post the other day, and be more of a balanced person... and as a result, I am very low on protein bars... because the "extremes" affect that area too!
Oh, and I am going to a ladies retreat next Friday night. I am VERY nervous because I dont like going away from home. I will probably pack 10 bags to take. And, that's just protein! Not my c lothes!
but then again, I've shopped at Goodwill for about 3 yrs now, and unless I dont know what a bed bug is, I have never seen one or heard one or felt one... so I guess that's saying something! lol
cathy, ENJOY your finds! They are great ones. Though, they won't be fitting you too long before you have to get another SMALLER size!!!
I have probably cleaned my closet out about 6 or 7 times since my WLS and almost everything I have comes from Goodwill. Why not?? Everyone at work kids me that they would love to have my clothing allowance, if they only knew!!
For the record, I take my "finds" to the 1.75 cleaners to get them a once through.
