You can try some thin cream of wheat or oatmeal. If you make them with skim milk it will add some protein. I love eggs myself and that is my standard breakfast. Wait a week or so and then try the eggs again. I wish I had more suggestions. At two weeks out though, you are pretty limited. Oh yeah, some sugar free fat free pudding would be good. If you buy the mix and make it at home you can add some protein to it by mixing it with skim milk.
Good luck.

The best advice I could give is to visit Bariatric Eating's site.  Here is a link to their Meal Plans where they have it broken down by stages.  Bariatric Eating Meal Plans.  Also, here is a link to the recipe section where it has recipes using eggs.  BE Recipes.

They have the same suggestions as karen regarding cream of wheat and the pudding.  Know that some folks are very sensitive to the sugars in the milk, so a good thing you may want to do which will increase protein is to get a ready to drink protein shake such as labrada lean body vanilla.  One carton will last you awhile, and you can use it in your cream of wheat.  Later you can use it as coffee creamer (decaf, if your doc lets you hae it) and you can also use it in warm chai tea.  This is really good.  I make this occasionally and it soothes my tummy (not for breakfast, just an idea for the labrada though)

There are also some good recipes there for all your different stages.  There is a recipe for cottage cheese pancakes that is great.  And, vanilla egg custard.  You should check it out.

Hey T, here's that recipe that Mel mentioned.  There are others out there as well, this is the one that my family truly loves:

Cottage Cheese Pancakes

Ingredients
¼ cup cottage cheese
2 Tablespoons oatmeal
1 egg
1 packet of Splenda
Splash of Cinn-a-bliss (pinch of cinnamon may be substituted)

Directions
1) Grind oatmeal in blender/magic bullet
2) Add cottage cheese, egg, and Splenda, and Cinn-a-Bliss( or cinnamon)
3) Mix thoroughly in blender/magic bullet
4) Let sit for several minutes for air bubbles to escape

Makes 4 silver dollar pancakes or 1 large pancake.

Here's a few others that you might try later on in the journey:
Susy & Derrels Power Pancakes
Apple Pie Pancakes
Cottage Cheese Pancakes with Strawberry Topping
Linda's Ricotta Cheese Crepes

Good Luck and keep searching!

Edited to add:  Let me say this, please check with your Nut or Dr. for specific ideas and suggestions for your stage of the game!  We are all adults and need to make the best possible choices for ourselves!
