8th Month Out

Wow...   I can't believe how fast my weight loss stopped.  For the past month, it's been non-existant.  I'm in the gym 5 days a week, and nothing...  Anyone else have a problem with this around 8 months out???

I was at goal at 8 months so I cannot say that it happend at that timeframe.  HOWEVER, mine happened earlier on...  and it lasted for THREE MONTHS!  Yes, 3 months!! Can you believe it? It seemed like nothing was happening, the scales would not budge. But tell you what the best thing to do is in order to boost your morale...  Remember, the scales don't always show the true story since you are building your muscle....

Get out the tape measure.  When the scale does not move, the tape measure does.
Get out your before picture, put a brand spankin' new picture next to it.  Look at it, and then you can say, "I DID THAT!"  You will be amazed how inspiring you can be to yourself!

Keep doing what you know to do...  persevere...  you will get there!

Your body is still adjusting. If you are doing weights at the gym, make sure you are using light weight and high reps (12-15) with very little rest period between sets (30 seconds). Sorta like an aerobic weight routine. Also, kick up the cardio.  Stay on your Doc's plan - it will work!
