Speaking of the little tyke, did he end up having chicken pox or did he just have a feel-bad day?  Hope he's doing well, and the little rescued fishies, too!

Thank you!!  He has been fever free since Thursday night and no spots..   so I guess he didn't catch chicken pox!

 I'm excited to get out there today and finish the other half.  All 4 of the dogs used the bed as a litter box this morning.  Sigh.  I'll have to get my little fence up so they won't destroy the garden.

I'm OCD about taking pictures and putting them on my site.  My pal Katy and I are always chatting garden. Plus it gives me something to do outside the kitchen.  I was going to take some of the dogs for a herding trial in KY today, but I can't squander a sunny day with so much to do out in the yard!

I'm glad Connor is pox free!  Keep us posted on Fishie Rescue, Day Two!

I have big time mixed feeling today. Got a card from one son, nothing from the other one, still hoping, but don't think it will happen. If not then, that is his choice. I so wish he could get over all the BS. Life is way to short to continue to hold grudges(sp). Oh well all I can do is hope and pray he will come to his senses and soon.

Sorry for the venting.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO EVERYONE!!!!

I woke up to a yummy lil' cup of decaf coffee w/some sugar free cream in it---my hubby actually read in my Gastric Bypass Owner's Manual that I could have that & made it for me.  Vanilla SF cream tasted so good in the coffee...what a treat!!  Then, the kiddos brought me breakfast in bed---2 eggs, scrambled w/pepper in them & a rose ---oh, and two pieces of baby spinach lettuce that my 3 year old thought would be a "barnish" ....we are working on our "g's" instead of "b's"...:).

Blessing to all the Mom's out there....apparently my surprise today is that they are taking me to the nursery to go flower shopping (oooohhh weeeee do they know me!!), so I am off to enjoy this beautiful day. 

(((Oh..and another Mother's Day wonder for me was I hit the 30s today.....230's that is....yippeee...that has been a goal of mine for a long time!!)))

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

This wish is for a Happy Mothers Day is to all my female friends!  I don't care if you have children or not.  Here is my thought...I'm sure you have had a motherly or nuturing influence in someone's life.

My mother passed away some 25 years ago.  So, Mothers Day is extremely painful for me.  If it had not been for that motherly nature that my female friends have, I don't know where I would be today! 

So, to all my female friends out there..."HAPPY MOTHERS DAY"! Wether you have no children or an even dozen!  May it be a very special day fo you!

To the mother of my child, you deserve riches in Heaven for all you put up with!  So a special "HAPPY MOM'S DAY" to my loving wife!
