Late night fever patrol!! LOVING these boards!!

Connor maybe coming down with the chicken pocks.   He was exposed early this week, and last night, today and again tonight he is running a low grade fever.

I am on fever patrol, waiting for his next dose of tylenol, and before WLS, I would have been raiding the refrig and eating everything site, not because I was hungry, just because...   Now...  I'm on here catching up with the happenings and feeling like I belong to something good!!!!

I do have a SF pudding, and not because I'm hungry, I'm just trying to get something into my stomach so I can take some Tylenol myself, since surgery, it seems to do better with a little something on my stomach.

I had a "mini-wow" moment, it was sad but funny now...   Connor was trying to snuggle on my chest, and he kept fidgetting and moving, and I was patting and singing...  I said, "baby, settle down, what is wrong?"  He looked up frustrated and said, "Momma, I need a pillow."    They have always been there naturally for him, now I'm loosing weight, I'm not padded enough for him.  I laid a blanket over my chest and shoulders and he finally settled into sleep.

Thanks for "listening" to the tired ramblings of a worried Mom!!!
HUGS to you all!!!

Awww..Connor lost his pillows!  lol...so funny....well, at least that is one benefit of never being "chesty"...my kids won't know what they are missing when they disappear into never, never land! :)

I sure hope Connor doesn't get the C-pocks....does he have a rash or just the fever....let's hope it's not that.....I still cringe when I smell Calamine lotion b/c it reminds me of having the chicken pocks (lucky kid I was...got 'em on vacation w/my family in Lake Tahoe when I was 7 years old)....my mom used so much of the Calamine lotion that it would dry up & crack all over my body...it looked like my skin was the desert...ug!

hugs to you & Connor...time for  me to go to bed....last field trip of the school year for Kindergartner's tomorrow & I am a chaperone, so, should be a busy day!

xo, Micheala.

Awwww. poor Connor!  I hope if he has chicken pox it's not too bad.  Nothings says fun like being itchy and scabby!

I feel bad because he is sick, but missing his mommy pillows is hysterical!  Out of the mouths of babes, right?  I can just hear him saying that, looking at you with his big blue eyes, a very serious expression on his face!

He is TOO adorable!

to you both and I hope he feels better soon!

OOHH! poor little Conner, I hope he is feeling better real soon. Please keep us posted on how he is doing.

Love the mini wow moment, that just goes to show that others, even a 3 year old can tell a difference in our bodies usually before we do.

Take care of yourself too while you are taking care of your little man.

Cheryl

Well Connor was exposed, but does not seem to have any spots.  The fever the last couple of nights could have been sinus problems, mold, who knows...   he is fine today, so far NO fever since it broke at 2am this morning!

Thank you Micheala, Denise and Cheryl for your thoughts!!  (and giggles)

Well, he seems ok.   No fever for 24 hours, and no spots!!!

Just wait to you look down at your hands and you think wow..  my knuckles are big..  then you realize that they aren't big, just that you've lost the fat that surrounded them so now they are more pronounced!    Or to feel your breast bone for the first time..  weird!!!!

See you Wednesday!!!
