About to have a freak out!!!

I know that rain is a good thing....but when you have a
4 year old who is bored in the house....NOT SO GOOD.
I'm running out of things to do in the house, to keep him
occupied. Oh well.

Anyhoo, at the picnic yesterday my Mom fixed meatball.
She got them at Sam' Club. OH MAN, they were the
best. She used sugar free grape Jelly too. You guys
probably already know about these.

Well I am rambling..guess I'll go before my child has a
spassssssss!!!!!!  HELP

Step #1...don't freak out!

How about coming up with some things to do together.  Movie and lunch.  Play some games the the child wants to play.  Make some sugar free cookies!  I promise, you'll survive the rain...Noah did! LOL!

Now, BREATHE, and enjoy the rain!

Breathe... breathe... That helped alot, I came up with
a great idea. He hasn't been to his Nana and Poppy 's
house in three days...Off we go..

Hey, Rhonda!  As long as there is no lightening, why don't you both get out in the rain and get soaked & silly?  Some of my best childhood memories are of playing in the rain.  Now that I'm getting some of my mobility back, I may take up the habit.  It's not like my husband didn't know I was crazy when he met me.  Just think of it as playing in God's sprinkler!

 My dogs just came in through the doggy door.  Yeah, they had a great time wallering in God's sprinkler.  Now they all reek, though!  Was pretty funny when they came in, all kinda looking guilty.  Crazy dogs.

That is a great childhood memory--great idea!

I understand....with 6, 3 & a 2 year old the rain can make things interesting...BUT, we have learned that rain days can be the most fun!!!  Rain boots, rain jacket & an umbrella (optional) are all you need to make this weather nature's playground!!!  My kids LOVE to jump in puddles & run through the wet grass....lots of exercise and fun...time flies, too!!  Yesterday when it was just sprinkling, but warm, they asked to take their boots & socks off & run through the little stream that had developed near the edge of our property....what they didn't realize was there was a ton of mud under the stream & they were cracking up mushing their toes in the mud....it was a filthy mess (and me, the neat freak, had to just let go & laugh...) but they were still talking about it this morning.....of course, the kicker was that they convinced me to do it too!!!  So, off went the shoes & socks & we all had fun running & gushing through the water & mud.....of course, now we probably have contracted some type of slug/tapeworm infestation, but, at least we have memories!!!

anyway you must be pretty awesome. I think Brax was
having withdrawls from his Nana and Poppy, seriously
he has to see them everyday. Thats ok, I took him
to their house for awhile and now he is fine back at
home.
