New Support Group - Oakland TN May 20th WED..7:PM
We are forming a new support group in Oakland Tennessee. It will be very informal and is meant to be a place that WLS friends can gather in Fayette County to support each other.
We are welcoming Old and New WLS patients and those who are considering WLS surgery.
The meeting will be at the Holy Spirit Lutheren Church on Highway 194 in Oakland TN. It will be every third Thursday in the month at 7:PM in the church Fellowship Hall. First Meeting is MAY 20th.
If you are coming down Hwy 64 from Memphis. Take a right on 64 at the McDonalds in Oakland. (That is HWY 194). The church is on the right hand side of the road. If you are coming from Somerville take a left with the same instructions.
We are not trying to take the place of any WLS support group that is facilitated by your surgery group and would encourage you to continue to attend these meetings. However, it has been difficult for some of us to get to Memphis every time.
This will be central to the towns of Arlington, Somerville, Moscow, Galloway, Oalkand, Hickory Withe, Macon, Eads, Piperton, Rossville and any others that are close that I forgot to mention.
Come meet with us and be on the ground floor of our group of WLS friends.
