What can I expect?

So tomorrow is my consult YEA!Since I am already approved what can I expect? I know they will schedule my surgery and other tests appointments. Will I get my manual? Or is that when you see the NUT? Will the DR just explain the surgery to me in detail and see if I have any questions?
I feel like anything I had questions on have been answered already either here or somewhere else online or from the seminar. Any others I dont think can be answered with any certainty because they are ones that very from person to person.

I am excited and hope I dont have to wait to long for my next appointment this past 6 weeks have gone by so SLOW! It's like waiting for Christmas

Hey, I am so excited for you. 

When I went to my consult...Let's see..Yes he will go in much more detail on the surgery you are gonna have.  Answer any and all questions that you have, and I would ask anything, NO question is a stupid question.  Yes, you will get your manual from the lady that will make your surgery appointment.  I was so excited.  And that manual has like EVERYTHING in it.  But I did have a few more questions after reading it.  But you can make a list for Dr. or ask any of us that have your same Dr. office. 

Again I am sooooo excited for you.  Can wait to see you on the losers bench.

My husband came w/me to the surgery consult & we were both really impressed w/the amount of time (and detail) w/which Dr. Houston described the surgery & what to expect.  Sitting here six weeks out from my surgery I can say that he was absolutely accurate w/everything he told me.  Even after my surgery when I was really having trouble with the pain to the left of my belly button he said that at five weeks it would be gone.  He was right (except that I slipped yesterday when I was watering flowers & now my left side is really muscle sore again)...you will LOVE your manual...it's really detailed...read it over & over....

COngrats on your consulation - by now it has probably happened and Dr. Dyer has answered all of the questions you may have - he is a little dry sometimes - but is wonderful none the less.  Let us know what you think and when your date is - you should be able to set it today.
