I changed hospital and surgeon
I am laughing my ka-toozie off at the "Dr. Hottie" comment....really? Dr. Houston? Okay...it would really be "funny" if he was reading this (Pam--no forwarding these to Dr. H....).....lol...that makes me laugh--I dunno why! I guess I have never thought of my surgeon that way....funny.
He is, however, a FANTASTIC surgeon & Centennial is absolutely, positively first rate...in my opinion (although, apparently I am outta the loop on the hot docs....lol!)....and you made an incredible choice!
CONGRATS!!! xo, Micheala.

Every time I go see him, I swear I have to be cautious and say "Dr. Ho....uston" to make sure I don't say Hottie... that would be so embarrassing! I figured if there was a McSteamy, there could be a Dr. Hottie
AND, also I hear that the hospital calls him Spanky or something like that but I would never dare ask him about either one. LOL!
Pam if you are reading this, do not tell Dr. H. I would be so embarrased! And it might go to his head LOL. Seriously though, he was surely there for me when I was really sick, and he helped me through some tough times. We joke about his nickname... but honestly he is a very good surgeon.
I can't think of anything better than calling Dr. Houston "spanky" on Thursday at my 6 week appt....just to see his face....what does Spanky mean? Maybe I should find out before I call him that---don't want to insult the surgeon in charge of my recovery!
I am still laughing...and all this time I thought you girls were recommending him because he's a great surgeon with a great center in a great hospital! Who knew? :).
