Spent most of yesterday in the ER
Yep it's happened again. I woke up Saturday and could not keep nothing down.......I mean nothing. I threw up about 10 times sorry (TMI) on Saturday. So I was going to try to tuff it out until this morning and call the doctor and try to get in to see him. Sunday morning was the same way, and I had not had any of my meds since Friday. I am still on muscle relaziers (sp) for my arm and since I had not been able to take them, it was about a 8 as well. I was having a terrible headache on a scale of 1-10 it was about a 8/9. I was hurting, cramping, coughing weehzing(sp) I was misreable. When Phil got home from church I was dressed and ready to head to the hospital. They started the normal test...ekg,xray,blood work and started me on fluids, which they had trouble getting that started due to me being deheydrated (sp). Everything they ran came out fine. When they done the xray of my belly, the doctor said that my band looked great and had not slipped..that was a good thing. The called my band doc in and he took about half of my fluid out of my band and when I go in next week to see him he wants to do a swallow xray to make real sure all is ok with the band. Both of the doctors seemed to think that I picked up sometime type of virus/bug and with all the throwing up, that made my stomach swell and would not let anything through my band. So I am on liquids for 72 hours and then back on the soft foods as I can handle them. I'm not sure where I picked up this......whatever I have, but I did work the Country Music Marathon this weekend and was actually around about 2,000 people at some time or the other. All I know is that I was fine before and not after, but this kind of stuff can be picked up anywhere/everywhere. I am feeling better this morning, was able to take my meds and drink my fav Tropicana Orangeade.
