I was just looking on some of the other boards and I realized how lucky I am to be on the Tennessee Board. I want to thank so many people who helped me, without you I don`t know what I would have done. Thank you K90PHILE, MICHEALA ,KAREN ( SUNSHINE HEART), MELSRETURN, AMY, REGINA, RONDA, NANCY, CATHY, TJ74, TRINA, HOLLY, KASHBROOK, SCOTT, BOB omg there is too many to name. You guys are great!!!! You know who you are. I have even had some advice from people outside of the Tennessee Forumn who helped me alot. Thanks for all your knowlege and support. I hope that one day when I now a little more about RNY and gastric bypass I will be able to help someone like you helped me.

Hi Sonya,

That is so sweet of you to say. This is a great forum and you are right, there are a lot of wonderful great people here that selflessly share their experience that helps so many of us. I have made lifetime friendships here that I would not trade for anything.

Sonya, you have done a fantastic job on your journey thus far. It is such a great feeling to be able to see some light at the end of the tunnel. It is so easy to feel overwhelmed. Most of the time we feel hopeless and don’t know where to start or turn. We are very fortunate to have a group that shares humor, inspiration, motivation, new ways to stay on track, recipes, hints, tips, new friends, WLS buddies, exercise buddies and suggested reading material. You couldn’t ask for more than that and I am so happy that you are here…… SONYA, YOU ROCK!!!!!!!

You are very welcome. It is hard to get the support that you really need and in this case I have to rely on this board because my family does not support me in this decision so it gives me great pleasure to see others happy.

It's kind of like the drive through at Starbucks when the person in the front pays for the one behind them and it just goes on and on for days...........That is how it seems for those of us who have felt the kindness of those ahead of us on the road to WLS.

I too have many supporters out there to whom I owe a debt of gratitude.

I guess we are a "Band of Brothers/Sisters" so to speak.
