IDGOMB - Monday 4/20
I walked 2 miles (and logged another 8927 steps on my pedometer), did arm workout with sculpting weights, stretched, took another 1 mile walk (slow) with my 3 & 2 year olds and jumped in some puddles for fun!!
I also bought some new 10 pound arm weights for a new arm workout that I saw in Fitness Magazine and a new MP3 player because my old one is, well, old, and I need to be able to have more songs on it....looking forward to loading it up right now & having some great new motivational music to walk to in the morning!
I am hopping to my egg-loss goal, too----just 3 more pounds to goal...ahhh...I HOPE I make it!
xo, Micheala.
WOW!!! WOW!!!! WOW!!!! You are so kicking it up! You go Micheala!!!!!

I figured it was time to GET OFF MY BUTT AND POST that YES I did GET OFF MY BUTT! lol
I've been working out twice a day... both mornings (yes I actually get up at 5 am and exercise!) and in the evenings!
My morning routine is to walk, and while walking slowly (warm up), and do hand weights. I do a bunch of different exercises with them, 15 reps each. My favorite is to hold the weights over my head, then lower them behind my back... it is supposed to be great for toning the muscles where the batwings are...
I also stretch good after my walk... and do some different sit up style exercises, one with the exercise ball. There is an exercise I do with a broom handle behind my head, holding each end with my hands, and then swinging left to right, etc. This is supposed to be good for toning stomach muscles.
In the evenings, I just walk. I am enjoying exercising. At first it was a chore. But, now its not so bad. The time goes by very quickly!

I did my first walk to car yesterday afternoon! YAAAY!
I haven't lost anything the past few days, but I am working up to my next period, which always means 4 pounds of water weight gain. So I'm good with hanging even! But the greatest thing about exercise is its impact on my blood sugar. When I checked it last night after my walk and before dinner, it was 111. That is the lowest reading I have had since I went off my regular meds prior to surgery.
Yahooooo!!!!
I can't wait to see what my Tuesday walks do to it. YAY!
