Thou Shall Not Covet Thy Neighbor's (fill in blank)...
I never thought I had a problem with wanting what other people had. But lately, everywhere I look, I see stuff I want!
A coworker had a beautiful bright blue tshirt on, with a white shirt over it, and another bright blue sweater. It was gorgeous. I loved it. Another person came in with the cutest shirt and sweater over it. I even asked her where she got it... but too late! She got it last season at NY & Company. Darn!
Then Scott (our Scott), has a beautiful new camera. He posts all these wonderful adventures and new pictures... and Well don't you know, once again, I find myself coveting one! I have always secretly wanted to try my hand at photography. And as I saw Scott's pictures, that sparked a thought, "I should do that"... Just something about seeing the movies where the detectives are hanging up wet photos in the darkroom... and then after seeing "Where The Heart Is" with Natalie Portman, I really wanted to find "the perfect picture".
Well don't ya know... I am getting myself a new camera! I figure it is a fine time to start a hobby... with the help and boost of moral support of my friend... And what does this have to do with anything? Well, before I would have never had the courage to TRY something like this. I was afraid of being a failure. Now I realize, I CAN do whatever it is I set my mind to... It is truly liberating to move beyond fear and into new things!

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbors .......flat stomach and little arms that will fit into some of those cute little layered form fitting stretch things that all the kids (people under 30 and under 125 pounds) wear with their jeans. Not one ounce of flab or sag showing anywhere.
Oh well, I guess I'd look pretty ridiculous in them anyway as old as I am......but I can dream can't I?

Oh, Cathy... Yes I dream of those same things too!! But I have this pocket on my side that protrudes out... and yet, when I look at those girls... they all have muffin tops pudging out. So I guess if they can do it with their pudge, so can I!

Thou shall not covet thy neighbor's camera, because once you do obtain one, you must read the instructions.
ARGH! Good grief. I got my camera this morning, and I have no idea what to do . Tim said I MUST read the directions. I don't know now if this camera is A PRESENT or A PUNISHMENT. Only MEN like to read instructions!
No clickety click click yet. Just trudging through loading software, and then reading this book and looking at the chart of where what is where which makes no sense!
