Holy cow, Amy!  I met my hoppy goal!

I started at 248 on 3/30/2009 and wanted to lose 12 pounds.  I am currently hovering between 235 and 236, so I did it!

WOW!

The scale hasn't moved too much in the last 9 days, but I did creep up to 241 after surgery, so I'm not doing too badly.  Plus I don't have any restriction at this point, so I'm basically just sticking to the rules and listening to my stomach growl while reminding myself to not follow the rules could negatively affect my healing.  Thank goodness I get to see Jessica on Monday so we can figure out what to do about that.

I've been lazy and haven't done much more than putter around the house a little.  So I need to get on the stick and start moving.  Now that I realized I lost 12 pounds in about 15 days, I'm feeling a bit enthusiastic!

Okay, I'm going to see if I can add another few pounds lost by the end of the month.  I'm going to see if I can get to 230 even by then.  I'm too tired to do the math as to how many dozen eggs that is!

Keep on hopping!!!!

 Micheala!!!

Things are going well.  I swapped out nasty rash for being able to breathe (what's up with that?).  For some reason my sinus surgery from Fall 07 decided to kick in after my band surgery!  Go figure, my body is a kook anyway.

I do have a bit of pork pain (port).  I think I am bending way too much, but that's a challenge to not do with four dwarf dogs.  Oh well.  I felt my pork for the first time today.  Eeew!  It seems kinda close to the surface.  I hope I don't wake up one morning with it looking at me with it's one big silicone eye.  Can you say YIKES!?!?

Gotta stay up and moving so I'll be acclimated to moving around at work next week.  Work.  Eew.

Maybe you can breathe better because you're mouth is agasp when you look at your rash & your pork! LOL...jaw dropping helps the airflow. :)...

I had a girl at one of the meetings decide she wanted to grab my hand and have me feel her pork (lol..that sounds really funny!)....during the meeting...I had asked how "obvious" they are & she said, here.....so, I was forcefully required to touch it.  Very foreign to me, but so worth it...it is getting the job done, so, bring it on!

I am feeling like I have a lot more energy now that I am on 100 animal protein...I am addicted to salmon & tuna...Tim says I am going to grow gills & scales.  I love the little foil bags that are seasoned & then add a little lite mayo.  yum.  I also found some really yummy pre-seasoned shrimp that are wonderful...perfectly legal, too!  Love them.  I am becoming a regular Ariel....under the sea...la la la la....

xo, M.

Ok, you will LOVE that your pork is somewhere were you can feel it especially when you go for your fill...  cause if you can feel it they can too...   mine has shifted, turned, moved...  who knows..  but every fill I have has to be with the xray arm so they can find it...     I am not sure I'd want to go feelng for it, I'm a wus with stuff like that...  but I'm happy for you cause you will hopefully have easy fills!!!!!

pssst...   my breathing is stuffy as well..   I am LOVING celestial seasonings teas...  first thing in the morning I get a HOT cup and it feels like it washes out my little tummy of any night time drainage.

Hey Amy! I'm very pleased, actually.  The scale hasn't changed much the past few days, but I've also been lying around in hibernation to keep myself from scratching.

Today I got out and went to Home Depot.  I walked around for over an hour, just looking at gardening stuff.  Well, buying.  Heh heh.

When I got home and checked my blood sugar before lunch it was 113!  That's the lowest reading I've had since I went off my meds and switched to insulin only!  So it shows the difference snoozing versus wandering around slowly and aimlessly around the yard and home depot makes!

YAY!

I need to write more . . . once I get done planting my veggies!

I have been doing ok.  Trying to kick up the exercise this week.  I have been stalled on the same weight for 5 days.  Its aggravating but I know it will budge soon.

Denise it is so good to see you post.  I am glad you are a loser.
