Challenger Bunnies - How ya doing??????
How is everyone hopping????? If you are thinking, wow, half-way there and I'm not half-way to my goal, (hmmm.. that would be me!) don't PANIC... Just kick-it-up a notch or two...
HUGS to all... and Happy Hopping Day!!!!
I am logging everything that goes in to my mouth. I have upped the protein, lowered the bad carbs, but still have good carbs.
I THINK I've lost 2 lbs but tomorrow is the official weigh in at work, and I always wear the same outfit to get a good reading from the week before....
Sorry I have not posted much. I was really busy with the contest last week, but this week I have really started taking MUCH BETTER care of me... new supplements, more exercise, focusing on ME and my health...
Its not to late.........I'm still hopping!
Remember.....I think I can...I think I can.....I KNOW I can....I KNOW I can!
Half way through means we still have two more weeks to achieve our goals!!! We can do this...it's spring & the weather is perfect for taking a few extra walks & getting out & moving!!!! Today I drove and mapped a quick mile walk around our house so that I could just knock a mile out in addition to my scheduled workouts!
As far as the challenge....Monday I lost 2.8 more pounds, yesterday nothing and today another 1.6 pounds gone forever, so, my total since surgery is a loss of 33 (surgery was four weeks ago) and since 2-day pre-op diet I have lost 37 pounds....so I am feeling HOPPY!!! My goal is to shed 13 cartons of eggs (19.5 pounds) in April----I have gotten rid of 12 of those pounds so far---or 8 cartons of eggs----everytime I go to the store I think about the eggs differently!!!! So fun!
By the way...I am really excited 'cuz today my husband took my third set of pictures since surgery....for the first time I noticed a difference in my photos....it was so strange....because I have one incision right on my waist-line I have been wearing nylon sweat-suits a lot (plus it keeps me active w/warm up suits on--and I can chase the kiddos around & play), so they are getting really baggy, but I had not really tried on any of the spring capris....I have gained weight since last spring, so I was hoping to just be able to fit in them...okay...goodbye 2XL tops, goodbye 24s, goodbye 22s, goodbye 20s...hello 18s (fitting a little snug but that's what I'd buy right now), but not too bad!!! WOOT WOOT!! I am so excited about that....When I met my hubby (okay--that was 1994) I was in a size 7/8--I was pretty fit back then (had just ran the Bay To Breakers Marathon in the San Francisco hills!), so, I'd love to be back there at some point....anyway...I am happy to just be getting rid of this weight....what a life!!
I hope e'one is inspired by spring & getting to their goals, too---I completely understand the stalls--I have had a few in the past 4-weeks (and at one point was convinced I was the only person alive that WLS wasn't going to work for 'cuz I hadn't lost in 4 days!!).....Amy's right...just kick it up a notch.....we can do this!!
Thanks for letting me share!! xo, Micheala.
