Busy 2 weeks
I have had a really busy 2 weeks. First I went to Georgia for my nephews birthdays. took 5 11 year olds to a science museum for a day then a sleep over, and 13 9 year olds bowling and a sleep over. My sister and I are crazy women! Then I brought the 11 year old home with me, who got to see snow for the first time due to our freak snow. Oh, and on the way home, I bought him and his brother a miniature dachshund puppy in Cleveland (his dad is going to KILL me) for their birthdays.
Monday night was our first support group and I think it went great. I have gotten wonderful feedback from the surgeon's office in Knoxville so I am really pleased and looking forward to it continuing to grow. Tuesday I had my physical, and you all know how that turned out. then Hunter and I went to play in the snow.
Wednesday, my sister came in with the 9 year old, and Thursday we went to the Aquarium in Gatlinburg and fooled around in town there. I may live here, but I don't ever do the tourist stuff unless I have company, so it was fun. Friday we did WonderWorks which is the boys favorite place to go besides Dollywood. By then, I was exhausted! I screwed up my eating and exercise a good bit on Friday, didn't walk except at the attraction, and ate a roll at lunch, but still managed to lose a pound this week. I need to get back to drinking more water, I have let that slip with all the company, back on track this week!
I ask for prayers for my dear hubby. He has had to be on steroids for ulcerative colitis which has caused his diabetes to get crazy causing him to get a major sinus infection that doesn't seem to want to go away after 4 different antibiotics. He is seeing an ENT tomorrow that specializes in infectious disease to see if they can't get him straighened out. So, say a prayer for him, ok?
