Dr. Weaver's Folks

I just had my psych eval done and Kat said I couldn't schedule my consult with Dr. Weaver until that was done.  So, my question is how long after they receive your psych consult do they schedule you to see Dr. Weaver?

Well it was different for me because I was told by Janelle that I could not get an appointment to see Dr.Weaver until I had my FIRST appointment with KAT.I already had my psych eval done before I seen Kat on February 9th.  My appointment was scheduled before I left  the office to see Dr.Weaver on March 25th. Make certain that the psychiartrist that you went to has submitted your letter to Dr.Weaver's office.Dr.Weaver has a lot of patients and when I was in her office two weeks ago I was told that she was booked until June just to get in to talk to her before scheduling a surgery date.Again the main important thing is to stay on top of that letter and make certain that your psych has done their job with submitting the letter and that Dr.Weaver's office have received the letter so that they can schedule you an appointment to see her.


P.S. I would speak to Janelle or Jenette in the office because either of those ladies are the ones that schedule the appointments and can let you know more information (especially about your file specifically} and about when they can schedule your appointment.

My appointment was not scheduled until I had insurance approval.  In the meantime, I had to go to the two nutritional classes and a private session with the nutritionist.   I really think the appointment is not scheduled until after everything is submitted and the insurance is approved,  If you are self pay, it may be different.

I agree with the previous post.  Call the office to confirm the conditions for the appointment.
