April's Dinner Club and May's picnic
The Dinner Club for April will be Saturday April 25th @ 6:00pm at the Red Robin in Mt. Juliet. The picnic will be Saturday May 2nd @ noon(ish), we have the shelter from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. It is going to be at Two River's Park off of Briley Pkwy, same exit and right next to the Wave Pool. We have shelter #2 it is the 1st shelter on the right with the small playground. Please let me know if you are planning on being there no later than Monday April 27th and how many as far as adults and kids. I would also like to know how many will be WLS patients and how many are not. As far as the food, I am asking that everyone bring enough for your family and we will just combine everything, we had quite a spread last year. I will have the plates, plastic ware napkins and cooler full of bottled water. So you may want to your favorite sleeves. I will be collecting donations for the rental of the shelter it was $25 anything that is donated over the $25 will be given to the Walk from Obesity. Both of these events are open to anyone/everyone/young/old/WLS or not. Feel free to bring your lawn chairs, games, music, etc. You can also bring your 4 legged friends as long as you clean up after them. I will be posting reminders as the time gets closer,but if you know for sure you will be able to attend either or both, by all means go ahead and let me know.
