Ft. Campbell, KY / Clarksville TN anyone??

Hi everyone,

I am looking to see if anyone is going through (or have gone through) RNY at Ft. Campbell.  I have just started my journey and was hoping for tips to avoid roadblocks along the way.

I have already received a referral from my PCP and am attending the sugeon's seminar on Wednesday.

 There are a couple of us here in that area. Are you doing your surgery on post? I have been to a few of the support groups on post. They seem very informative. But I had my surgery done by Dr Bolar off post.

Yes, I am having mine done on post.  I meet with the surgeons tomorrow as a 'required' step to being the rest of the testing (chest xrays, bloodwork, upper GI, etc)  I was hoping for someone who had it done on post to give me some inside tips.

I will be attending the supoort group meeting on the 6th, so hopefully I can get feedback from people there as well.
