Need Y'All's Help Please
Hey, it depends on what they consider an arm and a leg. I LOVE Gaylord Opryland. We get a inside balcony in the Magnolia area. They have a whole community in there. They have bars, restaurants, shops, etc. You can spend all of your time just at the hotel. If not you can walk to Opry Mills to shop, more restaurants, and movies.
We love to play it romantic and get take out from one of the restaurants and eat on our balcony and watch all the people stroll by.
We go about 2 times a year. Rates vary depending on when and what is going on inside the hotel (its a convention center too) at the time.
Well there is you an idea....

There's a hotel in downtown Nashville called the Hermitage. I'm not going to kid you, it's expensive. But if you're having a special anniversary, and want to do it up right, go there. Maybe they could get tickets for a show or visit the sights downtown.
The hotel itself is pure beauty. It's the only 5-star hotel I know of maybe in the whole state of TN. The bathrooms are so beautiful, they're even romantic!
I hope your friend has a lot of fun and a wonderful anniversary!
