Let's talk Shapewear - YES AGAIN!
So I have still been on the search for a great shapewear. I think its my life's calling THIS WEEK. Next week who knows what it will be... but I wanted to tell you ladies of a NEW product at Walmart. It is LIKE Assets but much cheaper. Target sells Assets (by the makers of Spanx) for $20. But the ones sold at Walmart right now are $6-$8 each. The ones I got are past the knee like capris, and come up to just below the bra. If Tim yanks real hard like he's giving me a wedgee, then they will fit nicely under my bra. the maker is Hanes, of all folks... They tuck you in nicely and help you stand up straighter... the legs have real tight control, the tummy section not quite so much. But look at the tags. One is 32% spandex!!! The other has 22% spandex!!! Wow!
Another place to look is Target. I used to love these underwear, not sure the brand, but they have leggins in them that come midway to the knee... and they have about a 4 to 6 inch wide waist band... the band has ridges in it, and is a different kind of material and depth than the leggins... they held my tummy in great, however they no longer sell my size and I am unable to buy a size small. They do have medium to XXL, maybe 3X or 4X but not all targets have them. Hendersonville Target did have them in black and white.
I now return you to your local OH channel....
I really enjoy hearing about your escapades with shapewear! Did you find your "money man" for your compnay yet?
But THANKS to you, I now have to budget in for the "Lipo in a box" thingy! I wonder what Dave Ramsey would say about this, and what category would I put this under? UNDERWEAR? LOL!!!!!!

Scott, at least Lipo In A Box is much cheaper than budgeting for real lipo! lol
Heck, I could tell you about my boob escapade too... but then I'd hve to show them to you. Which, is real hilarious since I can hold them in my hand! They're all smooshy just like real ones.
Speaking of shapewear, I have a body suit coming this week. Will let you know how that fares. I may have to give my friends a call "Help, I can't get out of this thing!"

Marilyn, I have a good find for ya! It's called FlabulessU. It's for your arms and cost $29.95. But, I also found another product that i am thinking of ordering... its a bra with sleeves. Have you ever seen a bra that had sleeves on it? And NO, I don't mean sleeves as in long cups that hold our tube socks! LOL... For all the men who were reading this and wonderin! I have been doing a lot of searching on the net lately for shapewear, and now compressionwear which can be used as girdles, etc... you can actually also find the sleeves among plastic surgery sites but they have big bra hook clasps on the back which look stupid through clothes more than likely...

Erika, I'm afraid THAT exact area is the reason I have been so dang distressed!! Did you happen to see the link above that has the bra with sleeves? It's nouvelleinc.com and when you get there, click on arm sleeves or bra with sleeves... there is a vest type of garment that I think will be perfect, I have not tried it though, but it would go well with a spanx high waisted undergarment with the leggins... but it is expensive... so I'm thinking maybe wait til you are down to your goal. I get so mad cause if those shapewear companies would just add some sleeves and a higher back instead of those spaghetti straps or cami straps! argh!
also, I have ordered the body suit from the nouvelleinc.com and I will let you know if I look like a sausage in a suit when I get it on!!! haha.
