Do you like strawberries? I like to get a big strawberry, and pour some Hershey's sugar free syrup on top, with a little spray whip cream. That is really good... OR you can also take a sugar free Valor chocolate bar, and melt the chocolate, and dip strawberries in them. they are good too. Or you could take some Kay's Naturals pretzels, and dip them in the sugar free chocolate and have choc covered pretzels (with protein!, sugar free). that's what I would do... however, I am not sure of your diet right now... I see you are lapband so sugar doesn't make you sick. I don't know about low calorie sugar chocolate products... OR you could always opt to make some hot pudding with Labrada Lean Body chocolate ready to drink and then pour some cook & serve pudding in it... that's good too. All this talk about chocolate is making me hungry....

Another thing you might want to do is to get some hard candy that has a chocolate flavor. Go Lightly has one that is wonderful. You can find them on Netrition. I first found them at the Dollar Tree, but then when I went back, I could not find them!! So I ordered like 3 bags from Netrition when I had an order in May. Also, I believe Cracker Barrel sells the Go Lightly version, they are made for diabetics. You can suck on those and they are chocolate flavored, some with a hint of rasberry, etc.
Or you can always do a protein hot chocolate... those are always wonderful. You can put just a little bit of whip cream on top to make it extra special, then a little bit of cinnamon or nutmeg, and put it in your favorite mug just to get a coffee shop experience... and it will make you feel pampered as well... cause Lord knows how horrible we can feel on "that time of month"... I'm there with ya sis!
-sugar free popsicles (which are not bad and almost take the real fudge pops)
-freeze any sugar free dark chocolate and suck rather than chew (makes it last longer!)
I didn't have the cravings the first couple of months after my band, but now, they are back, and I was struggling to get through Feb... but I have to say March's period has been so much better with a little help from the chocolate in the freezer!
Good luck!!!
The Chocolate in the freezer sounds like a really good idea. I still have the cravings today and haven't gotten any chocolate except for the sugar free fudge pops. They have helped some!
I haven't started yet. But I have PCOS and with surgery right around the time I was suppose to start I'm figuring that it delayed it a bit. I'm hoping so anyway. They did a preg test at the hospital when I went for surgery.
