Time to BREATHE!

Hey guys, it's just me, popping up from the world of confusion we live in, taking a breath!

Just wanted to share that things are getting better and better each and every day!  Work is still there (both jobs), but I am trying to take some time for me and my family more and more!

Last weekend, I had the privilege of taking some pics around town, and had a blast.  I started off in downtown Nashville and walked about 3 miles snapping pics!  Here are a few of them:

Then I headed over to Shelby Park and snapped a few pics of the wildlife in the area:

If you click on the pic, it will take you to the original over at FLICKR!  You can also view all my pictures at my FLICKR site.  Just click here:

I have had the honor over the last few weeks to do photo shoots for a wedding, a worship service, and for me.  The big one though is coming up in about 3 weeks.  I get to go to West Palm Beach, Fla. to shoot pictures for a project my wife is working on.  How lucky am I?

My prayer is that everyone takes sometime for themselves during their "weight loss" experience.  It's OK to be there and help others, but if your cup runs empty...

Have a good day and remember to "BREATHE"!!!

Oh yeah, I can't forget this one:

Hi'ya Scott!!   Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing these pics!!  I wish I had a talent like you!  Where we live right now is just POPPING with spring, and I just sit on my front porch and BREATH in the world!    Right now, I am sitting under a blanket cause it is only 38, on my glider watching a pair of wood duck which have found their way to our little pond.

It is so good to hear your exploits and adventures, and see your art!

Take care and I think of you often!!!   If you are ever in the Mid-TN area looking to snap some amazing widlife/nature shots, look me up..  I live at the end of a long dirt road.  My parents live an a log home that was built in 1865, that alone is worth the trip!   And that is for anyone in the area, I love to share and show off our mountain refuge...  so ya'll come, sit on the porch for a spell and breath in some fresh mountain air!!   I'm serious, anyone wanting to come, PM me for directions!!!  We'd love to have ya!

Hi my friend!  Is there anything you can't do?  The photos take my breath away.  I have been to Nashville many times.  These photos bring back some pretty spectacular memories to me.

I miss you on the board, but I really understand that you have to save some energy to give yourself and your family.  If you spread yourself to thin, you have nothing left for those who are the closest to you never mind yourself.    You are such an inspiration to me.

I want to be just like you when I grow up. *LOL!

Again,  It's so good to hear from you.

Hey Scott, good to hear from you buddy! Great pics . . . really enjoyed looking at them.  I just have a cheapo Kodak Z700 Easy Share, but it serves the purose for now.  I'd love to have a Nikon D90, but can't afford one just yet.  I'm spending too much on stuff for the new Harley!    Take care my friend.

Bob,

That is actually what I have bought, a Nikon D90.  It was my 50th birthday and reitrement present all rolled inot one.  The bad thing is, I did not retire!  It's a long story that I'll share one day, not now!

Enjoy your hawg!
