Anyone on here from Tri-Cities area?
HI, Dee. I'm from Sevierville but I had my surgery in Johnson City. There is a support group meeting there once a month at Johnson City Medical Center. I think it is open to anyone. I will find out the date for the next meeting. There is usually one on a Friday night and then an identical one on a Saturday morning. My surgeon and his partner sponser the meeting and their staff runs them. There is always a bit of education related to weight loss surgery. There is a group for gastric bypass and another one for lapband.

Here are the dates for April's support group meetings:
Friday April 10 at 6 pm
Saturday April 11 at 11 am
Go to the Johnson City Medical Center and enter through the main entrance. Go straight back to the elevators. Go up to the 7th floor. You will go left down the hallway and follow the signs to the meeting room. I usually attend on Friday nights. Hope to see you there.
