Well, being nauseous is one way to do it, I guess, but still, I am hanging on to the fact that I said goodbye FOREVER to the 80s yesterday and, four days post op, I have lost 9.6 pounds!  Gone forever...I am scooting down that bench!!! xo, M.

If you're not getting your 64 ounces of fluids in, make sure you call Dr. Houston.

Thanks, Pam....I got my 64oz in my midnight yesterday and am at 50oz today (it's 2:30pm)--so, I'm on track. I was able to do 1/2 scoop of Nectar--my husband blended it with crushed ice and a little Raspberry Ice Crystal Lite & it was tolerable.  For some reason, cold works for me right now, but, as I have found, by tomorrow I will be wanting all fluids warm or hot.....crazy!

Today is a good day...feeling better...made it from my bedroom all the way across the house to the media room and up both staircases to the kids rooms....it was a good walk and I then collapsed on the couch!  :). M.

Hey Pam---OMGoodness.....I am so sick, and in my fog, I started to wonder if you were thinking that a 9.6 pound weight loss in 4 days is a result of dehydration and not a good, healthy weight loss?  I have been in touch with Dr. O twice...(he's wonderful).....at this point, just focusing on TRYING to get 64oz of clear fluid down, but e'thing makes me dry heave/nauseous....tried the phenegren supp, yuk, still nauseous...I feel like I went from the star student 1 day post op to failing this class!  I am a little worried....is this normal? Going to get better? ug? M.
