My 1yr. Post-op Appt. today
To all of my support buddies, Thank you!! I went today for my 1 year check and all is great. The first thing Dr. Houston said to me is that my legs looked good, Oh my! LOL I had shorts on and he could see them and then he asked if it might be a lttle cold for shorts. I wanted to have the least amount of anything on the scales today for weigh in! LOL Anyway, he said that I did not need to loose anymore weight, that my BMI was normal!! OMG I can't beleive it. I told him and the nutritionist that I would like to loose 10 more pounds and they both said that I would look too skinny for my height. I am thrilled and wanted to thank all of you who have been my support. I love you all and you know who you are!!

Thanks Micheala!! Dr. Houston said he was shocked to see me in shorts because he said most people who complained about always being hot before surgery are now cold all the time. I told him I was getting there but did not want all those clothes being on the scale with me! LOL Thanks for your encouragement, it means alot and that is what this board is for. GOOD LUCK to you on your BIG DAY 3-17-09!!!!!!!!!!! You will be in the same boat I am before you know it!
