not so good news

omg, Im sorry I was told I was
 
approved for gastric Bypass surgery
 
when actually i was just approved for
 
my consult. I asked the lady at
 
tenncare 3 times are you sure, are
 
you sure I am approved for the
 
surgery and she said YES. But
 
actually what she meant was I was
 
approved for the consult. Im sorry I
 
didnt mean to give false statements.
 
Maybe soon I will hear the real
 
approval.... What a let down!!!!!

Some steps are baby steps, some are giant strides.  That they are moving towards surgery is what matters.  We'll keep the chickens swinging!

 That sucks!  

Don't apologize, you weren't giving out false statements.  It's just the people at the insurance place seem a bit thick and got your hopes up prematurely.

The consult is the first step and I'm sure from there the ball will start rolling quickly.  Next thing you know, you'll let us know about the Big Approval!

Hang in there and I'm sorry about the mix up.

Thanks I feel so stupid putting I was approved when I wasnt yet. I have been so depressed cause I told everyone in my family I was soooo excited now I have to call all o them back and correct myself. That really sucks. But Im sure hoping I will get approved for the surgery. Maybe next time I will talk to someone who knows what they are talking about. Im not blaming TennCare they just had one employee who made a honest mistake I guess. Thanks for your support. I will keep you  posted and I will double check next time.
