Going Crazy!!!

My surgery date is March 31st, but I am afraid that I won't be able to have it...Did anyone have to pay their co-insurance on surgery day? ya know, the maximum out of pocket expense(i.e. the portion that insurance does not pay)?? I will not have 2000.00 by the end of the month :( Do they ever make arrangements? Do hospitals usually only ask for the deductible (200.00 in my case) and bill for the rest? GRRR how does this work?? I REALLY appreciate any feedback!

You should call your doctor's office, and then also call the hospital where you are having it done.  preadmitting should be able to answer these questions for you.  I would surely find out before you get there, or else it might be quite a disappointment.

I only had to pay the remainer of my deductible, but you can call your hospital to verify what you will be responsible for on the day of your surgery. Good luck!
