Hi , new to tennessee,
Hi everyone,
I am new to tenneessee been here about 4 days now im in hixson, and was wondering if there is any support groups in this area. i had my surgery 3/06 at ucla in los angeles ca. i need to find a support group here .. i have been throu alot since my surgery . so i need to stay focused and connected throu support. i will have my internet up on march 3rd . until then i will be coming to the library here in hixson when i can . i have to look for work too, any suggestions. i have experience in call centers , office clerk, retail, customer service .
hope to meet lots of new people here and make some friends .

Welcome to TN. My name is Cheryl and my husband is Phil. We both have had the Lap-band. Mine in 08/07 and Phil's 12/08. I am not sure of the support groups there but if you don't mind the travel There are some great groups here in the Nashville Are. Pm me and we will exchange information about groups here.

thank you for the welcome. i just got here about a week ago and getting settled in but maybe moving again but to nashville im waiting to hear from a job that i applied at down there. but then i will have to commute until i get money saved up to get a place to live .its beautiful here but at times i find myself missing california not the weather and stuff but family and friends mostly i havent made any friends here yet but its because it could be to early ..

hi and thank you . i am getting settled here but its not easy . i may be moving to nashville if i get this job i applied for there.but i will be commuting until i can get money up to move there and get a place permenetly . so well see. but its very nice here but i miss my duaghter a whole bunch too...

thank you so much and your grandson is a cutie. im liking it here so far i miss my family thou espevcially my daughter but im sure it will get better with time. once i start working .i applied for a job in nashville so well see if i get that if i do then i will be commuting for awhile to get money saved to get a place to live down there .
