Update on my Mom

Mom had been having some problems breathing since last Friday, she just blew it off, then finally on Sunday, it go so bad that the had to call the EMT.'s They got her to Vandy and starting running all the normal test. They decided to admit her that afternoon. She had a couple more spells during the night. They took her for a artiergram(sp) yesterday @ 11:30 we did not hear anything at all until 2:00. They finally came in and talked to us, she had a major 90% blockage on the back side of her heart, they were able to go in with a balloon and open it up and put a stent in. So now she has 3 stents and has had bypass surgery. I just don't know how much more her heart can take. I have talked to her this morning and she is feeling good and might get to come home later today. Thank you all for the reply's and PM's and the phone call. They all meant so much to me.

Glad to hear things are looking better.  I hope you are able to rest also.  I know that when family members are sick, the caregivers(YOU- Cheryl!) need to take care of themselves or they risk getting ill.  I'm praying for your mom, but I'm praying more for you! Please take care of youself.  erika
