I cancled my surgery
Just wanted to update you guys. They decided to keep mom at Vandy, they took her to a room and she was a little bit better and looked a little better, so we decided to come home. We had been calling and checking on her through out the day. We called about 5:00 or so this afternoon and my step-dad was upset, and said that she was having another bad spell. So we headed back to Vandy, again they have her calmed down and she is resting. They have decided to do a aterygram(sp) in the morning to see what is going on. They pain and spells she is having is the same way she was acting when she had to have open heart surgery before. She has also had to have 2 stents put in. So with all of this going on I called and canceled my surgery and I will be there for her. I am a only child so there is no one else to be there with them during this. I have always been there for her and this was not going to be any different. I knew that if I had my surgery and she needed me that I would not be able to be there for her for at least 6 weeks. We talked about it tonight and yes she did fuss at me, but I told her that it was my decsion and that was it. We are going to have a long day ahead of us tomorrow, and I am not looking forward to it at all. I will post when we get back home with another update. Please continue praying for us all.
Love ya'll,
Cheryl
