One year surgiversary!!!

One year ago today I started down the road to my new life.  Wow, what a journey it's been!!  I've had alot of support from people here on OH and at my support group @ Baptist.  I want to thank everyone for  everything.  You all have helped me through some very tough times.   It's been a little rocky at times (with all my ailments) but it's all been worth it.  I celebrated today by finally splurging and buying myself a pair of Levi's.  I love them but they are so expensive.  Bought  a size 6!  Cannot believe it.  One year ago I was wearing a tight 24 pants and 3x top.  Now I'm a 6-8 pants and s-m top.  Amazing!!!  Next stop-- plastics!!  That's way down the road, though!!  Gotta save some money for that!

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE JOURNEY!!  MY ONLY REGRET-- NOT DOING IT SOONER!!

Melissa, you have done so wonderful...  I saw you at the lunch bunch last week and had no idea who you were, and that you were even a wls patient... til Scott handed you the goody bag... I wondered, "what is he doing handing that to a stranger at another table?"  !!!

 You are a tiny little thing.  It looked to me like you were a size 4!  You have done well my friend, congratulations!  We are glad to have you part of our online support forum...

You are doing wonderfully.  I am so glad that we basically started our journeys together.  I agree with you, it is so well worth it....I only wish I would have done it sooner!  Looking forward to the next steps in our journey.

Congratulations on your success.  I know exactly how you feel as I am celebrating mine today.  It is an awesome experience and I too wish I had made my decision earlier on.  Hope you are feeling better and are on the road to recovery now.  Take care and keep in touch.
