Hopefully, I'll be an exercise monster like you one day Bob.  BwaHahahaha!!!

This week is a bear for me at work. Plus I had to go to Vandy on Tuesday for my 6 month check-up.  So, all I can do is walk 1-1 1/2 miles.  Got in a mile today.

I won't let that dizzy, skinned up guy from Clarksville kick my butt, I have spent time in gym (weights and bike) along with the track for my walking/jogging this week.
But today, work was crazy-busy  did good to take the needed breaks for mandatory body functions.....no further explanation needed!!  I looked up at 1:30 and realized I hadn't eaten since 6:30am.....not a good thing!!!
I did walk about 3 miles in the course of the day along with the stair case at least 5 times.
Back to the gym tomorrow.
Hope everyone's day was calmer than mine.  Thank good that it will soon be Friday. LOL

PS

Bob,  I am glad that you a feeling better and are able to work out.  I just cringe at the thought of you being hurt worse.......Thank God, an angel somewhere has a bike and can keep up with you.....or maybe she was truly sitting on your shoulder (taking a breather) when your accident occurred.
Either way, Thank God!!

I went to the Gym yesterday.  I am trying to get back into the habit pre-op so I will get used to it again BEFORE my surgery.   It felt so good to be taking this step.  I have been walking, but this is the first time to the Gym.

I have to tell you, I feel like someone beat me with a bat!   I know I'll be better for it in a few days.  I feel really good about myself for taking the steps to get back to what I need to do for my health.  .   That is what counts.  Plan to walk today and go back to the Gym on Friday.

PS.  Glad you are feeling better.

Great effort Cathy! The old school train of thought when it came to exercise is "No Pain No Gain" the new school of thought is light and easy with no pain because they say your more likely not to keep doing it? Hang in their and walk stiffly with pride you earned it!!!! C'ya Bob
