IDGOMB Saturday 9-27-08

Attended the Heart Walk this morning on the Vandy Campus.  About 4000 people turned out for the event on a beautiful Saturday morning.  I did move my butt today!!!  The walk was 2 1/2 miles in length and I was able to complete it in 35 minutes.........never before have I walked that fast.
BOY!!  Did it feel GREAT!!!
I was actually the 5th walker (about 10-20 people ran) to cross the finish line and 4 of us were from St. Thomas Hospital and all 4  from my unit.   GO Critical Care Team!!!  YOU ROCK!!

I didn't have nearly as exciting a day, but it was productive.  I spent about 4 hours going through all my clothes and changing out my closets.  I have moved down two sizes!!  It was funny when I first went in a 24 I thought, "I can't believe I have let myself get this big."  Today when I put them in my closet I was thinkg "Hurrah, I'm in a 24!!!!"  I guess everything is relative. 

I don't have many clothes smaller then 24 because I got really down one day about a year ago and decided I would never loose any weight and gave them all away!!  Oh well, I guess this just means I get to buy some different clothes.  Goodwill here I come

Got up at 3:30 this morn and started laundry.  Now, before you say anything, that involves several trips up and down the stairs. 

Then spent 4 hours at the ball park running around taking pics of the football games. 

Then went to the flea market and walked around for an hour or two.

Now I'm tired!
