Waiting!
My name is Kristin, I live in Kingsport, Tn. I'm seeing Dr. Hodge I have finished my six month diet deal, my endoscopy (hated that), gallbladder ultra sound, psych evaluation, nutrition class, and support meetings (I may go to a few more) and I am currently waiting on my insurance approval. They got a little delayed and it was sent out today. I have Cigna insurance soooo hopefully things will go smoothly!! I am looking for some people to keep in touch with, it would be nice to talk to someone who understands how terrified I am lol.
We've all been where you are now, terrified but excited at the same time. The hardest part is waiting for the response from the insurance company. Hang in there, it will all be worth it!
By all means, continue going to the support meetings. Support groups are a very important part of this journey.
Keep us posted on how things are going and be sure to let us know when you get a date. We love to do the happy dance with folks getting approval and surgery dates.

My name is Marilyn and I live in Sevierville, so not too awful far from you. I was terrified before surgery and almost cancelled it even up to the minute they sedated me in preop! I am sooo glad that I didn't though. Go to my page and read my story! Come here as often as you can and learn as much as you can. Ask all the questions you want, none are dumb, and even if they are, we have all asked them anyway!! LOL! Again, welcome!

It has been nice getting to know you in PM. There are a lot of great people on this board and it really helps to pass the time waiting to be active on here. I hope your approval comes through fast for you. I know I will be anxious to get my approval once everything is done and submitted. I wish you the best.
