Pool Bash!!!

What a great group of people showed up and Sue and Larry's this afternoon.  Won't try to name them all because I know I will leave someone out.  This was a great get together for me as the newest one of the group as I had only met a few of the people there.  Most of them I had just met through the board.

I couldn't believe all the food that was there!  Only 6 weeks out from RNY surgery myself and still on soft foods, this event opened my eyes to all the foods that will be available to me later on.  I can't wait to get all the recipes.

I learned a lot today and starting tomorrow will put it all into practice.  Some of it was hard to hear but if I want to make a success of my weight loss it was what I needed to hear.  Thanks Trina.  Scott thanks for reminding me that tomorrow is another day and I get to start fresh.

Melissa (1) (2) or (3) I can't remember, I have your bag you forgot and will bring it to the support group on Tuesday.  Thanks again for getting the shirts for us.

A BIG THANK YOU to Sue, Larry, Tina, and Stacy for having us all at their place.  It was a blast, even for those of us who did not get in the pool - maybe next year!!!   It was great to see all who made it and put real faces to avatars and names.  Cheryl,  if the clothes don;t fit or there are just to many of them!!!! - let me know, and I will get them to the charity at work. I hope all of you who were able to make it had a good time too and those of you who were not there were surely missed.  Hope everyone has a happy and safe Labor Day holiday!

I guess I will just say DITTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Phil and I had a great time with everyone. Big Ole Thanks to our gracious host and hostess. Sue, Larry, Tina, Stacy and little Ms. Carley, the boys are probably all of us losers are gone.........lol.

This was a great idea, we might even have to have it as an annual event. Can reserve for next labor day? It was good to see everyone, I'm with Baboo, I'm not going to try to remeber all the names, I'm sure I would miss someone.

Everyone looked awesome and just think if we have it next year, there won't be near as much splashing, since we all will be even smaller.......lol

I hope everyone has a safe and happy rest of the holiday weekend.

The party was awesome. a big THANK YOU to Momma Sue, Larry, Tina,Stacy. You are so kind to welcome all us to your home. The kids and  I had a blast and I must also say a warm thank you to those of you who encouraged me to get in the pool. It was a HUGE step for me crossing those boundaries I had for my self and stepping out of my comfort zone but you all made it easy for me. You have no idea how overwhelming it was for me.

 I am really glad to have met some new faces. Wendy you my dear are one AWESOME lady. I am so glad you were able to join us. Glenda sorry I did not get to talk to you much but glad you and hubby made it. Erika hun you are one pretty lady and I'm sorry we didn't talk more. Ba-Boo it was good to see you and glad you made it. 

 Scott and Beth it was really good to see you both. Shelia dear you are doing so great and I wish you and Todd a Happy Anniversary !! Phil and Cheryl you are both so great and so glad you felt up to being there. My sweet Barb I love ya hun and I'm glad brian and steve joined us. Ms Trina... what can I say??? You are a mess but we had fun.. don't tell  Totto!!! : ) I hope I didn't miss anyone ... You are one great group of people and I am glad I came.

I am very proud of you and honored to have been a part of this WOW moment for you!!!!  You go girl!!

WELL WELL!!!!  I do believe it has all been said, I can say, I am sooooo very blessed to have been able to have such a great group of people to share times like this with, it was really awesome!!!  I enjoyed myself and Todd has even talked about how he really enjoyed it as well!!  We will have to do this again, that is if Sue you and and your family would have us again!!! LOL  You have been an inspiration to us all and all the love you and your family showed again last night will never be forgotten in my heart!!!  (With or witout the Ambien) LOL

I'm with Shelia,  everything has been said already.  Thanks to Sue and her family for inviting all of us "losers" to her home.  There was so much food.  I wish I hadn't had to leave so early.  I was really having a good time.  Beth, I'm glad I finally got to meet you.  Same goes for Wendy W., Juanita, Stacy, Tina, Sue and Larry.  Was Stacy a good girl and shared the ice cream?  I hope it was good and everyone liked it.  Tina, don't forget to post the peanut butter fluff recipe.  I thought about those all the way home.  They were awesome!!  I also want the recipe for the "potato" salad.  I had a great time and hope we can do it again.  Again, thanks for the great time.
