Baptist support group protein party!!
Hi all,
Just wanted to let everyone who wasn't at the support group meeting tonight that you missed a great night. We had our protein party and it was wonderful. Paula, Susan and Freddie done a great job. They had so many good ideas. Paula's protein ball were awesome.
Freddie, you need to post the recipe for your Chik-0-Stik shake and tell me where to find the sugar free chik-0-stik.
Susan's banana split smoothie was fabulous.
I want to thank Susan, Paula and Freddie for doing this party. Some of the protein was given by BariatricEating and some of it was their own personal supply. They took their time and money to help all of us and I want them to know how much I appreciate them for doing it.
Love you guys and Thanks again!!

Hey Melissa,
When you find out where to get those SF chik-o-sticks, please let the rest of us know too. I use to love those things and would sure like to be able to eat them again, without the weight gain. It sounds like you all had a great time at the meeting and were able to sample quiet a bit of things too. It all sounded YUMMO, as Rachel says! Hope you have a great day.
Hugs,

My husband and I attended the Support Group last night and had a great time. I will admit I came away overwhelmed with all the choices. I am in the pre-op stage with surgery July 15 so I'm new to all this. I never realized I would have so many great tasting choices to choose from!! The banana split shake was to die for. Thanks Scott for making my husband and I feel so comfortable. We really appreciated your coming out to the parking lot before we left to talk to us and help us not fell so overwhelmed
How do I change from "hoping to have surgery" to putting my surgery date in my profile? Also I need to change the name of my surgeon. Thanks

I thought that was you last night. I am so sorry we didn't get a chance to talk other than to pass out samples.
You know our thoughts and prayers will be with you on the 15th.

I totally agree with everyone. What a wonderful support group we are each blessed with!!! I walked away with many different ideas that I didn't have until last night. I really appreciate all of the time and effort you guys put in to helping us!!
We also need to really support Paula with the "WALK FOR OBESITY". I know that she really wants it to be a huge success. She did say she would be sending more information at a later time. Let's show others what BAPTIST has!!
Baboo...I wish I would have seen you because I would have introduced myself to you! Glad you were there!
