It's time for our weekly fest of gratefulness! If you missed the original post for "Tankful Tursday", you can get it by clicking on the words above in blue ......or by clicking right here Every week we are going to set aside a day to list things we are grateful for! Kind of like a filling station for the cup that is darn near empty!  Have you ever heard the saying, "You can't see the forest for the trees"? Well, sometimes we can't see the good because of the bad! We can't see how full our lives are, for the emptiness we sometimes feel!  So today we are going to list things that we are grateful for. If you filled your cup of last week with gratitude, try to think of something different you are Thankful for. If the items you were grateful for last week are still the same, by all means, list 'em!  I am Thankful for: 1) A loving and gracious God who sees beyond my faults, and fulfills my needs!  ) A wife and son who love me no matter what!  3) My health!  4) The ability to get out and walk!  Now, here's our assignment for the next week. Grab a notepad and everyday, list one thing you are Thankful for! Then as the week progresses, we will see that things are going pretty good!  I hope and pray each and everyone of you have a great day!

Being a nurse in a critical care unit, I see the sickest of the sick.  Also the families of these patients.  I am thankful each day to be able to get up, go to work and help others....not being in one of those hospital beds. God is always at the top, I see his work daily!!

I'm thankful for WLS which has allowed me NOT to get up like a 99 year old man moaning and groaning. Being already healthier and in better shape to tackle the day to day activities. I'm thankful for a wife who supports me, loves me and indulges my "today's" passions. (Big Boy Toy's). A Great daughter, son-n-law and two wonderful grandchildren. Unlike the gas station I'm not thankful for the high price of fuel, but I am thankful for the ability to still pay for it. The Support All of you (Yea even Bamabob) provide 24/7 which keeps me accountable. Thanks Scott, C'ya Bob

As crazy as it may sound I am thankful for the trials that I go threw. It makes me a stronger person to go threw a tuff time then come out on top and learn during the process.  I am so very thankful to have an understanding friend and father who is always looking out for me from day to day and lifts me up in the hardest and lowest of times.  I thank God every day for blessing me with two beautiful little girls who make every day worth living. I am so very thankful for all of my friends here who support me, listen and who are always there for me. You guys are the greatest !

I'm thankful that I am blessed to have such a good job that allows me to travel and see parts of the state I wouldn't have otherwise.  I'm thankful that I've been given the gift of health.  Thankful for my family, friends, and my boyfriend who are my biggest cheer leaders.  Of course I'm thankful for my obesity help peeps, the opportunity to go to school for my masters when so many don't have that luxury, coffee...and my niece, Emmy...who's coming to visit for a week on Tuesday.  And her Aunt Sissy (me) has taught her to be a little Randy  Jackson by saying "sup?"

I am thankful for God, just being God all by himself and for His unconditional love, grace, and mercy. I don't think I can survive without Him in my life. He's like a fresh breeze blowing thru my soul, He is the water that revives me when my spirit is withered and needs to be renewed. He's my author, my help, my friend, my lover, my everything. He is so much to me and I am truly thankful for Him in many ways, I just can't tell it all.
