Kim,
Welcome to Tennessee. I live in Sevierville, near the Gatlinburg area. Not very far from you. I didn't have lapband, but RNY. Dr Steven Boyce at Parkwest Medical Center and his partner, Dr Williams are about the best surgeons in the area. There is a support group in the Fountain City area that I hear is really good. The one here is Sevierville is not. I beleive the one in Fountain City weets on the 3rd Thursday of the month, but I haven't made it there yet, so I am not sure. Maybe we can start our own!

Just adding my own welcome home to Tennessee and to the TN forum.
I knew someone from your area would pop in with some surgeon's names. I do know that a lot of our East TN friends have used Dr. Boyce and Dr. Colquitt and are very happy with their choice. I'm sure any of the surgeons in the area would be happy to take you on as a patient.
Here in the Nashville area, we get together once a month for lunch and again for dinner. We call our get togethers the "Lunch Bunch" and "The Dinner Club". I know that we love our get togethers and it has made us a closer group. We welcome anyone who has had, is going to have, or is researching WLS. We don't care what hospital, surgeon or surgery type is involved. We also welcome support people be it spouse, SO, parent, child or just a friend.
Congratulations on your loss!
