I have a New Grandson!!

Not a weight loss topic, but something I wanted to share. My son and his wife had their son yesterday, Tuesday May 27th 5:15pm.  Weighing in at 8lbs 2 ounces and 21 inches long.  Both Mom and son are fine, Dad is still a little stunned, but breathing normally again.  LOL Being a Grandparent is even more awesome than being a parent, and I thought I would never say that!!  Pictures at a later time,

Congratulations Sherry.  I can't wait to become "Mimi", first I got to find the child a man though (LOL).  Glad everyone is well and can't wait to see pictures.  Oh, we need to know this wonderful little guy's name too.

Thanks everyone,  Everyone is doing well this morning.  Baby is feeding well, Mom and Dad actually got some sleep last night.....but they had the help of the nursing staff.  They will go home tomorrow and I am sure I will have some phone calls....that's what Nanna is for. Babies are a true blessing from God.  Precious, Precious, Precious!!!

Marilyn, We make pleas for everything else on this site, so maybe that is what we need to do for potential husbands for our girls. (LOL)  Can you imagine an "arranged" marriage in the United States in this day and time (LOL) - I know it would never happen in my house.  Since my daughter is a nanny for 2 different families, I have 4 "foster" grandsons, but it's not the same as having one of your own.
