Some good news First consult appointment
I finally called my pcp and got the ball rolling. I've been waiting for nearly 3 weeks to hear from them and was starting to get impatient. Turns out that the really great nurse my doctor has is gone and the one I don't like at all has taken her place. That is why nothing had been done yet. Fortunately, today there is a substitute nurse and she got everything taken care of within an hour. My consult with Dr. Hodge is set for July 21 at 2 pm. I also have an appointment for epidural steroid injections for my back on May 23. I've been waiting in agony for this. Also have been out of pain medication because it was never called in after my last appointment. However, things are looking up now and I can breathe a sigh of relief. Yayyy for persistence.

Hey that's great. That is kinda close to my date. I guess we will be counting down the days together. Best of luck. Since my appointment is first I will let you know what to expect. ( PS I am really sorry that you have to travel but I am so excited that I found someone going thru this with me who knows we may even run into each other during our journey)
