not being on much neck and spine problems.........

Hey you all, I am so sorry I have not been on much, Its very painfull for me to sit at the pc and use the mouse.... I have a neck and spine problem and I have been in a lot of pain, Pain that is Different then the pain I live with daily, on March 28th I pick up a case of propell to put under the cart and something poped in my neck and instant burning pain started,  i have seen my pain Dr. several times and had xrays, it showed that the DDD is worse and I have a disc that is turning backwords.  The pain has been so server, I am going for a MRI and see a ORTHO dr next week to find out what can be done.  please pray.   I can say I am a little scared if they need to operate, knowing what has happend to Kathy bless her dear heart.  I know I have arthritis in my neck and spine as well. Thank you all for all your support.  A special thanks to Kelly Presely,  Who had RNY about 7 months ago she lives in my area and we have become great friends.  She is doing great with her surgery. hugs kelly thank you for being my friend and understanding what I am going through, you are my ROCK GF.  The rest of you whom I dont know in person,  I KNOW YOU ALL ARE GREAT PRAYER WORRIERS,  I know I can come on this board and know I have support here,  THANK YOU.   I will try and post when I know more. Honey, I am so sorry you are going thru this.  I had a lot of pain in my neck prior to surgery, it's been a month since surgery and the pain is worse now then ever. Plus my voice is just about gone.  I see my ENT today to start the testing to see how much damage has been done before he can repair the paralyzed nerve and hoping to get the surgery taken care of before the other goes totally paralyzed so time is of the essense in my case.  I will keep you in my prayers that yours will go smoothly and relieve you of the pain.  Plus I don't have any pain meds because my pain management Dr. dropped me as she only prescribes Demerol, the patch, and Morphine Sulfate.  I had an allergic reaction to Demoral at the hospital because of my chemo, I'm severely allergic to Sulfate, and I'm allergic to adhesives.  So I have to see another pain clinic. Oh don't let them put an IV in the juggler vein for the neck surgery.  Mine is very swollen on the left side when they started the IV in the left juggler vein and it hurts a lot still.  Keep us posted on how you are doing.  Love ya
