I am sorry miss y'all

Hi everyone.  I am so sorry that I haven't been here, I have missed it and you so very much.  I am currently living in a motel on Briley Parkway as I have no place to live.  Had 3 herinated disks repaired 3 weeks ago.  Painful to drive, found out I was allergic to Demerol, Morphine Sulfate, and another antibiotic.  I have had to be rehospitalized from dehydration, but my throat is still swollen and I can't get anything down.  I can barely get 4 ozs of fluids in me in a course of 24 hours.  No food what so ever.  I tried soups, but my throat is so scratched up from all the tubes that it's painful and won't go down.  I can't even swollow my chemo pills.  That part scares me.  I'm due for more surgery on May 13th in Smyrna,  I have no voice to speak of no pun intended.  It's more of a whisper because everything in my neck had to be moved to the left side for them to repair the disks.  My right hip area is healing where they took bone and some marrow out to fusion the disks.  I've dropped 6 lbs just in the last week alone because the the swelling in my throat from being allergic to the sulfate in the morphine.  I didn't notice it on the label until after I started taking the pain pills, of course my pain dr didn't pay any attention to the fact that I am allergic to sulfate, nearly killed me.  Because my throat is so swollen, it makes it hard to breath as the swelling is pushing on my windpipe so most liquids end up going down the wrong way.  Oh well. Haven't seen or heard from Rick since Marches dinner.  He just quit calling, wouldn't return calls, so I don't know what his problem is or was.  Another chapter in my life at a dead end. Congrads to all the losers, the mommies to be, to those getting ready for becoming a loser.  I wish you well.  I'll pretty sure I will be able to make the picnic.  I will let you know this weekend after I talk to my surgeons about my throat.  They said it would take about 2 months to totally heal, and it's not quite 3 weeks.  Oh Dear.  Love to all May God travel with you on your new journeys. Hey neenej, thank you.  Just came from my ear Dr. where I had to have my tubes checked for their 6 month check-up and he checked my throat.  In the course of getting the disks in my neck repaired, they caused a voice nerve to become paralized. Hence why I now have barely a voice.  I will be under going major surgery again in the near future to have that repaired,  right now, I am on the angry side.  I can only eat jello like two bites at a time because of my throat being so scratchy and swollen.  I managed today to get down 4 ozs of water, the last sip wouldn't go down.  My Oncologist is worried because I can't swallow my chemo pills.  If I don't start getting them down, I will have about a year to live according to him yesterday when he called me back.  Now facing more surgery,  I'd like to face an attorney.  But it's up to God now.  I have enough on my plate, he can take over all this and make it better.   Again thank you for the prayers, and congrads on the weight lose.  Since posting yesterday, I've lost 3 more lbs.  I feel like I just had the gastric surgery and not 2 years ago.  LOL Hang in there, and may He travel with you on your new journey. Hi Cheryl, thank you.  Just came back from having my tubes in my ears checked for their 6 month check-up, I have a paralyzed voice nerve.  Talking major surgery but he wants to wait until the swelling goes down first.  Down 3 more lbs since yesterday.  My pain Dr. is putting me on the Fentynal patch for pain.  She won't write a script for Dilauda but she will for the patch which is stronger as you have to wear the patch for 3 days before replacing it.  Dilauda I only took when absolutely necessary.  I might as well sell my van, if I have to go on the patch, no more driving for Ms Kathy.  At least for sometime.  Greyhound here I come.  LOL  Congrads on the weightloss and I believe the new mommy to be news.  How exciting. Need to run, I've been in Smyrna at appointments since 9:30 this morning and I'm worn out.  Need to get back to Nashville as right now I am in LaVergne.  Stopped here to use the computer real quick.
