Susan,            I will not be able to attend the next Lunch Bunch, that is the day before my last and the hardest final is due!!  I hate that I will not be able to attend, I was kinda hoping it would be the next weekend since the 11th is Mother's Day, but I know everyone will enjoy it!!  I guess it will probably be after my surgery before I see everyone else, if I can make it in June it should be on my birthday the 14th, maybe it will be close to my house like Razz's if I can make a  (hint hint)  suggestion for the June Lunch Bunch well in advance!!! Okay, yesterday was a prom night that began at 4pm and ended about 11:30. It was also a very busy prom! early morning protein - protein cappuccino breakfast - Big Train waffle with SF Mrs. Butterworth's syrup mid-morning protein - protein cappuccino lunch - deli sliced roast beef, monterey jack cheese & yellow bell pepper rolled up together mid-afternoon protein - yet another protein cappuccino 5 pm - Starbuck's venti latte, nonfat, 3 Splenda Prom pick-me-up - one of the dear, sweet teachers took pity on me and the lady helping me and brought us plates. I had 3 meatballs, no sauce; and 3 pieces of fresh pineapple. Yum! And, just what I needed. Post prom - Bill and I did make our stop at Waffle House. I had 2 eggs, a few bites of grits, part of a piece of toast and a bite of his waffle. Water - 96 oz

I love Saturdays as it means sleeping in...  being spontaneous...  visiting family and friends.  But I don't like Saturday as it means that my eating pattern/routine gets out of whack.  We stopped at Mcdonalds this morning and I had sausage, egg mcmuffin with cheese, I tore off the mcmuffin. Later I had a Nectar Twisted cherry in half a bottle of water, half SF Tropicana Lemonade, and a sleeve of Black Cherry flavoring powder (Fulfill brand).  This was so good! I had a dear friend loan me some Java Monster & Labrada lean Body Chocolate for a yummy mocha protein.  Thanks, Shelia! I was at the Goodwill and started feeling like I needed food, so ate 2 bites off my RocknRoll protein bar (a bariatric patient's new "payday").  This kept me leveled out until lunch. At lunch I had chicken tacos, minus the tortillas. I had some more of my mocha protein which I still had some left from earlier today.  Not much eating going on around here today!

Let's see if I can remember all the food intake today.  It was a cruddy day.  Period, and all.  Ick. Early Morning Protein Mocha Protein Shake Breakfast Fage Yogurt with splenda & bear naked granola Lunch Boiled egg sliced up in cubes with mustard & mayo Supper Lasagna (I made my own with ricotta cheese, low sugar spaghetti sauce, stir fry vegs, shredded skim mozarella cheese)  I filled up on just a little tiny bit, so a few hours later, I had another two bites. It was a light eating day.  No protein shakes, although I probably needed one! ** On a side note, I was taking a shower this morning and noticed how thick the back of my hair felt.  I think all that protein has really helped my hair!  I am so pleased!
