New Goal
You go girl, you can do it. That is what I am telling myself about me walking in the Walk from Obesity. Right now I am saying I think I can, I think I can. My son's volunteer for LaVergne rescue, so I have done put them on alert, if I need them when I finish........LOL. We are going to miss you tonight, but we understand.

That's an Awesome Goal.....You will make it!!! I know!!
Maybe when you training starts in October, you could join me in the Heart Association's Heart WALK. It is a bit longer than the Walk from Obesity in September, but still doable. Of course, working at a local hospital that is a sponsor, their is a BIG turn out. But the more the marrier.
I would love to have some of the WLS peeps walking with me this year. Families are welcome too!!
I'll keep everyone posted.

Way to go Wendy. I stopped running when my college basketball career came to an end with a knee injury. I ran so many sprints and miles all of the years that I played basketball that I said I would never run again, unless being chased. lol I might start a slow jog after I get about 100 more lbs. off. Good luck to you.

Hey Wendy,
Thats so awesome!! I've always thought that I would like running. Like Melinda, I've always had the excuse of being too big or having 2 black eyes when I was done ( know what I mean?). I told my hubby the other day that I wanted to start working on being able to run. Wouldn't it be great if there were some WLS patients in the marathon? I'm not volunteering yet but it would be great!! Wonderful goal and keep us posted!
