Goodbye
You know... I have just grown so tired and weary of well doing, that I just do not want to post on this board any longer. I humbly submit my goodbyes. NOT apologies, for I feel I have done nothing wrong. Just my goodbyes.
I have many friends here; I will still check my pm's and email you.. it just sometimes appears that what the board used to be is not what it is any longer. When I first came here, it was about learning to eat a new way... at every stage of the journey... helping people who need it... giving suggestions and advice. Everyone was able to freely give their input without feeling attacked. It doesn't appear to be that way as of late. I have said the same thing that I said last year, that I said yesterday, that I will say tomorrow. Low carbs, low sugar, watch the bread, pasta, crackers, bagels.. same speel, different day. I believe these to be very important for a longterm success on the journey.
If people find my advice to be too strict, I am sorry. My intentions have only been :
1. To prevent a new postop from being sick from too many carb intake or sugar intake
2. To make sure you meet your weight loss goal as quick as possible
3. Learn the new low carb lifestyle and put it into place as soon as possible, for this is about a lifetime... not just til you lose all your weight
4. To prevent someone from being in the hospital for dehydration
5. to prevent someone from being admitted for malnutrition and being fed through a tube for 6 days because they didn't get in their protein or their required vitamins/supplements/food intake
To end the post, quoting Forest Gump, "That's All I got to say bout that."
Hmmm..... I dunno know how to help you with that one. If you have grown weary and tired of well doing... Do you mean well doing like posting your experiences on the board for others to read? Is sharing the information that God has so graciously given you such a chore and so cumbersome that you no longer want to do it anymore?
Do good people ever get tired of doing good? Sometimes we can lose heart when we are doing good. When you lose heart, you give up, you give in you get tired of it all and quit.....
I read this one time and thought it was pretty cool::::
"Are You Tired? The population of this country is 220 million;
84 million are over 60 years of age, which leaves 136 million to do the work.
People under 20 years of age total 95 million, which leaves 41 million to do the work.
There are 22 million who are employed by the government, which leaves 19 million to do the work.
4 million are in the armed forces, which leave 15 million to do the work.
Deduct 14,800,000 -- the number in state and city offices, leaving 200,000 to do the work.
There are 188,000 in hospitals, insane asylums, etc. -- that leaves 12,000 people to do the work.
Now it may interest you to know that there are 11,998 people in jail, so that leaves just two people to carry the load and that's you and me, .....
It's compassion fatigue. It's well doer's burnout. It happens sometimes when a very dedicated, committed person suddenly wakes up and realized he's tired - tired of giving, tired of doing, tired of serving tired of being misunderstood. He finds that the joy of service is gone.

Sorry that you feel that way. Don't remember reading an "attack" post on this board, they are plentiful on the main board. But I have been out for a few days with laptop probs then oral surgery. I will just go to your blog when I need my mel fix.

PS-shame on anyone who attacks. Just remember that "There, but for the grace of God, go I"
