A Suicide Protein "Concoction"

So I was sitting here at work and wanted something fruity tasting... I had some Dasani Plus Vitamin Enriched flavored water (Pomegranate blackberry flavor) and well, that just didn't sound too great.  I recently bought it but left it sitting in the fridge for a desperate day like today, I guess. I happened to think , what goes with blackberry?  I had a black cherry sleeve of generic crystal light up in my cabinet... added that.  Yummo, it was great... so then I thought, well my protein is a little down for the day because the chicken in the cafeteria wasn't that good, and I ate more vegs than protein...  so added about 1/3 scoop of Whey Gourmet Rasberry Smoothie protein powder.  OH MY!  It is really good... has a strong berry flavor and its great! What kind of "suicide concoctions" have you made for protein that you would like to share? Just a thought... is a concoction all thrown together like this basically like throwing leftovers into a casserole?

Lately I have been taking finely crushed ice and adding International Coffee's Cafe Vienna (sugarfree), cold water, a dash of instant coffee and a scoop or two of Any Whey unflavored protein powder.  The amount of protein powder depends on whether I'm making 8 oz or 16. When it's cold out I like it made hot. Sometimes I use sugar free swiss mocha. The any whey protein powder is 17 gr protein, 70 calories, the cafe vienna is 30 calories for 4 tablespoons (or 1 and 1/3 T). I can make this one with a shaker or a blender. If you are making it hot, the trick not to get the any whey powder to clump up is to add the protein powder to a little cold water and stir it up first, then add warm water. If it is boiling temp or close too, it will not mix well, the protein will sort of "curdle" and rise to the top. also I like to freeze fruit (small amounts of fruit don't make me dump) and add to Any whey, skim milk, a dash of vanilla extract and splenda. You can use whatever fruit you like. I also like to add finely crushed ice and then blend. Sometimes I add a little sugar free jello powder or crystal lite. I use a blender for this one because it crushes up the frozen fruit.

My absolute favorite protein "casserole" shake is The Chick-o-Stick shake.  If you are tired and try to say it out loud it comes out Chicken shi*!  Careful with the enunciation! Anyway...I use a scoop of Syntha 6 Cookies and Cream, 5 ounces water, 12 ounces crushed ice, 1 tablespoon PB2, 1 teaspoon coconut DaVinci, and a teaspoon of SF White Velvet.  Blend it and love it!!!!  Sometimes I even put a sugar free Chick-o-Stick candy in the mix.  Over the top delicious! I love my protein!!!!

Okay, I have got to get some SF Da Vinci coconut syrup so I can try a chicken shi* shake!! I say we take a road trip to that Russell Stover's store in Shelia's new car. We can pack a lot of SF goodies in the back of that sucker and toast our buns at the same time.
