Freddie said recently that I do the post on another website about what we ate today.  Thought, since there seemed to be an interest, that we'd get this going.  How it works...  at the end of each day, you post what foods you ate.  But, please be nice to all posters, please.  Realize that some of us are at different phases on our weight loss journey, and foods that might be allowed in one stage are not permitted in another.  We want to provide a place where all can post and be accountable for their current stage.  This tool is also used as a way for people to get ideas for food items from others in their stages...   I will start this thread in the dinner hours each day...  I will cut/paste from my other thread... Good evening! Sorry I am late... when I got home from work, Tim suggested that we go to the driving range! It was fun... I'm not much of a golfer. Heck who am I kidding? I am 135% NOT a golfer! But I had fun and luckily my driving practice got interrupted from a fellow wls patient from my support group! lol... too bad... just gave him more balls to practice with! Golf balls, that is! How did ya'lls day go? Mine went pretty well... kinda boring. shhh don't tell my boss that or else he will give me more work to do. Next week is Administrative Professionals Day and I booked a spot for me and my co-worker/counterpart to attend a local radio station luncheon given for Adm. Professionals. I can't wait. Free gifts, free lunch, and music at a local restaurant. Can't wait. I sure would not have accepted that invitation at 251 lbs. How did your eating go today? Mine went along fine, without a hitch. Here's the breakdown: Morning Protein - Coffee with Nectar cappuccino, a little bit of half & half to get the cappuccino powder creamed & pasted up good Breakfast - leftover chicken nacho toppins (little sour cream, black olive, jalapenos, chicken) What a breakfast of champions, huh? LOL Mid Morning Protein - Nectar apple ecstasy Lunch - little bit of salad (it was mostly green leafy so I had probably four pieces of white lettuce) and 4 oz chicken breast, 6 Kay's naturals kruncheez chips. Afternoon protein drink - Whey Gourmet Pina Colada Breeze (non alcoholic!) Supper - I made my own calzone. Used a mission low carb tortilla, took some italian sausage, pizza sauce, jalapenos, pepperoni, onions, red pepper & browned in skillet. Put some shredded cheddar & mozarella cheese into the mission low carb tortilla, filled with the skillet mixture, and rolled, held with toothpicks, and baked. OH MY it was so spicy and italianianao!! I loved it. Tim did too. I also had a sugar free margarita after supper. I use 4 oz of Tropicana lemonade, 1 sleeve of lemon lime kroger brand crystal lite version, and 1 oz tequila. I love these! I used to hate salt on the rim, but that against the sweetness of the drink is tasty. Zero carbs, zero sugars. Plus as you can tell, I planned it into my eating day. High protein day... So... what did ya have to eat today? Did your tummy hug you and say thanks, or choke you and get upset?

Looks like we had no takers on posting their daily food. But I will continue on for a week and see how it goes over.  But, evidently someone was interested in what I was eating... 17 views! lol.  Anyway, we'll give it a whirl and if no go... that's ok.

I am VERY interested because it helps me to know what to do after my surgery.  I kinda plan what I have been eating and kind of don't.  I'm still soda free.  But, I've to to check out those Mission brand things ya'll are talking about.

Just remember... there will be a new thread each day... "Whad'ya Eat Today" Weds. will show up...  I am going to post it early because I am not going right home after work...  I am meeting 3 prior coworkers for one's birthday at Logan's tonight...  This helps us stay honest, accountable, completely voluntary.  List as much or as little detail as you want.  If you have a question about something you ate, please ask...  otherwise we may not know you need some help...  And when giving criticism, please be kind.  For example: If I eat an entire bag of skittles, say "Melinda, I am not sure if your doctor allows skittles on your plan." Instead of "Are you crazy, you stupid idiot?  Skittles are not on that diet of yours! My gosh you big lousy failure!" LOL You get the idea!  LOL. I crack myself up
