1st post-op MD appointment today

I just got back home from my first post-op appointment.   I am down 9 pounds.   That, to me is AWESOME!!    I had Lap band on 3/26/08 and today he did my first fill.  I go back and visit again in three weeks for another fill.    This the best thing ever.....I should have done it sooner. PS...has anyone heard how Bama Bob is doing??    If so, please post an update.  I'll keep checking.

Congrats Sherry! Life just gets better and better. It was so nice to meet you Saturday. I'm sorry I didn't have more of an opportunity to talk with you. I do hope you will make the luncheons a regular part of your schedule. We just love to see each other shrink from one get together to the next.

Congrats on the loss. You will continue to shrink right before your very eyes and it is a cool experience.

Thanks everyone.....It has already been an awesome experience and I know it will get better.  I truly enjoyed meeting everyone Saturday at the Lunch Bunch.  I hope I can attend more.   I will be helping PDSmiles with the yard sale this Saturday and hope to see more of you there. I would love to get to know everyone better. I return to see Dr. Morton again on 5/7/08 to check my progress and another fill if necessary.  Today is the first day since surgery that I actually feel restricted.   Thanks again, Sherry
